REMINDER: The deadline to submit an application for appointment to the Travis County WCID - Point Venture Board of Directors is this Friday, May 20 at 4:00 p.m. A vacancy on the Board came after the resignation of former Board President Fred Marshall. The Board hopes to fill the position at its May 26, 2022 meeting.
A pump at the District's water plant went down over the weekend resulting in the level of the storage tanks to drop. This in turn caused the loss of water pressure at some homes in the District. The pump has been repaired and the storage tanks are now being refilled. The District requests conserving water over the next several hours to allow the storage tanks to reach their full capacity. Thank you for your patience.
There is currently a vacancy on the Board of Directors. Attached is an Application for Appointment of Director, if you wish to be considered to fill the remaining term of the vacant position.

During Winter Storm URI we were unable to access the water plant for 5 days due to hazardous weather conditions. As a result, we were not able to measure the disinfectant level leaving the water plant. A boil water notice was issued, and microbial samples were collected as soon as weather conditions improved. The chlorine residual measured in those samples was within the acceptable range set by TCEQ.
