Winter Weather Alert
January 21, 2026
NON-RESIDENT customers who have not winterized their homes may call the District (512-267-1641) to ask for their water service to be turned off due to the forecasted extended freezing temperatures. A reduced reconnection fee of $50 will be applied to the February 2026 bill. If you wish to use this service, please call by noon on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Once the danger of freeze is over, water service will be reconnected. Reconnections must be done during regular business hours.
RESIDENTS who live in Point Venture are asked not to drip faucets but instead open cabinets under sinks to allow the warm air from the home to keep pipes warmer. For more information on protecting your pipes, click on News & Notices on the District's website then Current News/Winter Weather Alert.
Residents who lose water pressure during the freeze are asked to remain patient as service lines for your home have most likely frozen. Once the temperatures increase, pressure should be restored.
Inframark plans to have an employee on site this weekend in case customers need any help.
If you have questions, please contact the District 512-267-1641.
