Dear Customers,
BOIL WATER NOTICE STILL IN EFFECT
-Please continue to boil and cool any water you plan to consume, use to brush your teeth, or make ice.
-The boil water notice will most likely be in effect several more days.
-Once the pressure in both planes is fully maintained, water samples will be taken to a certified lab for testing.
Approximately 24 hours later, results are returned. If the sample is free of bacteria, the boil water notice will be lifted, and customers will be informed.
GOOD NEWS
-The lower pressure plane storage tank has recovered.
-The upper pressure plane started filling this morning.
-Pressure is improving in the upper plane.
-The end is in sight!
-As pressure increases, more leaks will most likely become evident at homes and in the District’s system.
-A leak on the intake pump barge was discovered after the thaw.
NOT SO GOOD NEWS
-As pressure increases, more leaks will most likely become evident at homes and in the District’s system.
-A leak on the intake pump barge was discovered after the thaw.
STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES
-Overflow from tanks at the water plant is backwash water which is created when the plants’ filters need flushing. Because both plants are operating and the output is greater, this backwash will occur more frequently.
-Part of the capital improvement project includes improving the backwash recovery process.
-Once the pressure in both planes is fully maintained, water samples will be taken to a certified lab for testing. Approximately 24 hours later, results are returned. If the sample is free of bacteria, the boil water notice will be lifted, and customers will be informed.
CONTINUE TO LOOK FOR, TURN OFF, AND REPORT LEAKS
- If your home has a water leak, turn off your house water at the shut-off valve. In many houses, this is located in a small valve box near your meter or close to an exterior wall. If you need help, please call Inframark at 512-246- 0498 or email them at csaus@inframark.com. Include your name, address, and phone number. -If you see a water main break, please contact Inframark immediately at 512-246-0498 or email them at csaus@inframark.com.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO CONSERVE WATER
-If you have a leak, please TURN OFF YOUR WATER until is repaired.
-Customers with water should still PLEASE CONSERVE WATER so both storage tanks can recover.
-Please DO NOT use washing machines or dishwashers yet.
-Please DO NOT take long showers or deep soaking baths for now.
-Please DO NOT flush toilets until absolutely necessary.
-Please DO NOT wash your vehicles in Point Venture.
-Please DO NOT turn on your irrigation system.
-Share this communication with your neighbors and encourage them to contact the District to be added to the IRIS communication system. WcidPV@yahoo.com or through Contact us on the District's website. https://tcwcid-pv.org

Dear Customers,
BOIL WATER NOTICE STILL IN EFFECT
-Please continue to boil and cool any water you plan to consume, use to brush your teeth, or make ice.
-The boil water notice will most likely be in effect several more days.
-Once the water distribution is fully recovered, samples will be taken to a certified lab for testing. Approximately 24 hours later, results are returned. If the sample is free of bacteria, the boil water notice will be lifted, and customers will be informed.
LEAKS ARE STILL EVIDENT IN THE SYSTEM
-Leaks are preventing the system from full recovery.
-If you think you may have a leak: - Turn off your house water at the shut-off valve. In many houses this is located in a small valve box near your meter or close to an exterior wall. If you need help, please call Inframark at 512-246-0498 or email them at csaus@inframark.com. Include your name, address, and phone number.
- Slowly turn on the water and listen for hissing or other sounds of water leaking. Many leaks are visible, some are not. Once you have water pressure, turn off all faucets and other water uses and watch your water meter dial for a few minutes. A major leak will show as water is flowing. Minor leaks may not register immediately.
-If you see a water main break, please contact Inframark immediately at 512-246-0498 or email them at csaus@inframark.com.
CONSERVE WATER
-If you have a leak, please TURN OFF YOUR WATER until is repaired.
-Both District water plants ran all night, are fully operational and producing water.
-Operators are on sight and storage tanks have begun to fill. The lower-pressure plane tank will recover first. The upper-pressure plane will take much longer. Please be patient and CONSERVE WATER.
-Inframark personnel and volunteers are in the District to help with finding leaks, turning off service at homes that have leaks, and responding to customer calls.
-Door tags are being hung where water has been turned off. Every effort will be made to also reach those homeowners by phone.
-Customers with water should still PLEASE CONSERVE WATER.
-Please DO NOT use washing machines or dishwashers yet.
-Please DO NOT take long showers or deep soaking baths for now.
-Please DO NOT flush toilets until absolutely necessary.

Dear Customers,
Again, thank you for your patience! The District has some of the best customers around and Inframark and the Board truly appreciate how you have all worked together in this record-breaking freeze condition.
MOST IMPORTANT:
-If you are home, CHECK FOR LEAKS inside and out. TURN OFF WATER IF YOU HAVE A LEAK or call Inframark to help you turn off your water – (512) 246-0498.
-Customers with no water may go to the water treatment plant located at 18318 Lakepoint Circle with your own containers and these containers will be filled. This water also needs to be boiled and cooled before consumption.
UPDATE:
-Both District water plants are fully operational and producing water.
-Operators are on sight and smaller storage tanks have begun to fill. Larger tanks will start filling soon. Please be patient and CONSERVE WATER.
-Additional Inframark personnel and volunteers are in the District to help with finding leaks and responding to customer calls.
-Chief operator has reported that the first time in days flows have significantly dropped (meaning major leaks are been located and turned off) allowing the slow process of the system recuperating. -Customers should still PLEASE CONSERVE WATER.
-BOIL WATER NOTICE is still in effect. Please boil and cool water before consuming.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
-Check for leaks at your home. Check your neighbor’s home for leaks if they have not been there.
-If you find a leak at your home, turn the water off with the customer cut-off valve or call Inframark to have someone help you. (512) 246-0498.
-Report water main breaks to Inframark immediately – 512-246-0498 or their 24-hour customer service number at (281) 398-8211.
If you have water -
-Please do not use washing machines or dishwashers yet.
-Forego long showers or deep soaking baths for now.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
-It may still be days before the large storage tanks are full and normal pressure resumes.
-If main breaks are found, sections of the distribution system may need to be turned off to repair the leak. Customers affected will be contacted.
-The water is being turned off to homes that have an unattended leak and a door tag hung.
-Share this communication with your neighbors and encourage them to contact the District to be added to the IRIS communication system. WcidPV@yahoo.com or through Contact us on the District's website. https://tcwcid-pv.org
